Postdoctoral Research Associates
The Rao lab in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Alabama (https://raolab.ua.edu/) has openings for two post-doctoral research associates to work on a range of funded projects focused on utilizing engineering tools to study the mechanisms associated with the role of microenvironment in cancer progression, drug response, and resistance.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Cancer Biology, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in tissue engineering, or cancer bioengineering, or cancer biology is required. Experience in hydrogel biomaterials, cell culture, confocal microscopy, mouse models of cancer, molecular biology techniques, and/or systems biology approaches, is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write journal publications, prepare presentations, as well as assist with grant submissions.
